Eligibility
To be eligible for an RTP Scholarship at CQUniversity, candidates must be enrolled in a recognized RHD (Research Higher Degree) course, either as a domestic or overseas candidate, in accordance with the guidelines of the Commonwealth Scholarship (Research) 2017.
Candidates may qualify for an RTP Stipend if their income from other sources does not exceed 75% of the RTP Stipend rate. This income is meant to support the candidate’s general living expenses throughout their course of study.
Candidates who are already benefiting from a similar Commonwealth scholarship or award that covers the tuition fees for their RHD program are not eligible to receive an RTP Fees Offset.
How to apply
- Applicants cannot directly apply for RTP Scholarships. Instead, they should express their interest in an RHD Scholarship to their supervisory team.
- The School of Graduate Research will invite potential candidates to apply for the scholarship based on the supervisory team’s recommendation.
- Successful applicants will be notified via email once the scholarships have been awarded.
